Best dive company! - We could not be happier with our CaboTrek experience! From answering all questions during booking to the follow up sending us personalized footage from our dive, they were beyond amazing to work with and so accommodating. Our dive guide Adriana was so kind and knowledgeable about the area and the sea life. She was so helpful and patient as we hadn’t dived in a few months. Our boat captain Freddie was welcoming and helpful as well. We will definitely use CaboTrek again when visiting Cabo!

First class! ….and I live here 👊 - This is the second time this year I have been out with Cabo Trek. The first was whale watching in the spring. I have lived here 4 years and learned more in this one trip than all the other ‘tourist’ trips put together!! It was more about the ecology and marine biology than loud music and free drinks. Thank god! The second trip I just did was a scuba diving with my wife. And let me tell you, it was AWESOME. Our dive master Le Roux was off the charts good. We felt so safe and comfortable, and the guided experience has us hooked. Thank you Cabo Trek for a memorable time.

Scuba Certification, CaboTrek, Silvia, Adrian were awesome!! - We traveled to Cabo for vacation and I decided to do my scuba certification while I was there. I was initially looking at doing it through our resort, but I had a friend traveling with me that was already certified and I wanted him to tag along on our open water dives. Our resort would not accommodate this, but Cabotrek didn’t even hesitate and were happy to oblige. I found them on Google, talk to them over WhatsApp and they were very good at explaining all the details and working with me on my concerns. My instructor (Silvia) was amazing! She was so patient, an excellent teacher, explaining everything in detail, and worked very hard to keep me comfortable. She was unwavering on the instruction and worked with me to ensure I learned all the concepts to safely dive in the future. She was also really fun. We shared a love for the ocean and marine life. She has a ton of experience all over the world and was able to share stories of her travels and dives. Very enjoyable to have her there. The boat Captain/operator (Adrian) was great too. Very accommodating, helpful, and supporting. Always checking in, making sure we were comfortable and ready. Very impressive operator as well. (If you ever see how tight the marina is, you’ll understand what I mean). It was a very pleasant experience. The price was extremely reasonable. They always had snacks and drinks for us. It was just a super super pleasant experience. I was a bit worried about swimming the 200meters that is required by PADI, and Silvia swam next to me the whole time, ensuring that I was comfortable, cheering me on, and taking my mind of off the task. If you are looking for a great place to do your certification, you can’t beat this place. We will be back, I will plan dives with Silvia and Adrian in the future and excursions with CaboTrek. They have some super cool options. I want to come back to do some whale watching especially!

Amazing dive, great staff. - I had a wonderful dive with this company. They evaluated the dive sites before we settled on a spot and I appreciate them taking our safety and experience seriously. We ended up going to Chileno Bay because the swell was really big by lovers beach. That was a nice spot, although the recent storm had affected visibility. We did see a lot of fish and coral there though! On our way back we saw turtles, assisted a boat in distress, and made our way back to pelican rock for a fantastic dive. I’ve literally never seen so many fish in schools ever!! Our guide took some amazing pics for us. Sylvia was our guide and Adrian was our boat captain. What a wonderful experience and friendly staff. Very knowledgeable and professional. Would definitely dive with them again.

For beginners in scuba diving - The scuba diving itself was very enjoyable! We each paid 35 USD to rent equipment. Our captain, Freddie, and diving instructor, Silvia, were very cheerful and made our first scuba diving experience pleasant. Luckily, we were able to do the activity on a very good weather day, and we saw sea lions, spotted rays, and sea turtles. However, one disappointment was with CaboTrek's handling of billing. Silvia took underwater GoPro photos of us priced at 50 USD, but we were offered a volunteer price of 40 USD, which we paid by credit card. Later, we found out that they charged us the full 50 USD plus 16% IVA tax without any mention. When we contacted CaboTrek, they said it was a mistake and would refund $10 if we visited their office. Since we were on vacation with a schedule, we just asked them to give the extra 10 USD as additional gratitude to Silvia and Freddie. This way of handling things was very regrettable paying by credit card. My advice to those planning to visit is to pay everything in cash to avoid such issues.
