Participants are invited into Paul Seftel’s gallery and working studio — a space that opens directly onto a historic adobe compound in Cerrillos. From there, the experience can extend into the courtyard and surrounding village, if desired. Taking time to observe how light shifts across walls, ground, and open space, the day transitions into evening, and light refreshments and treats are served in the outdoor lounge.

The art and perception focus on how surfaces absorb and release light. Participants are invited to view select works in low light, including phosphorescent paintings that subtly and dramatically respond to changing light conditions.

The experience is personal, relaxed, and rooted in place — offering a deeper understanding of how the work evolves from the surrounding landscape and light.
