A wonderful day around the island of El Hierro - Twice our school has chosen Basso to handle a day trip on El Hierro and we have enjoyed both trips. Our guide was enthusiastic (thank you Raquel!) and told us many things about the island and also patiently answered all our questions. Very flexible to our needs! Basso is easy to work with and responded quickly. I recommend Basso to anyone who wants a reliable organizer.

MUST DO IT! MIND BLOWING EXPERIENCE AND BEST GUIDE EVER! - You will experience the most beautiful views and you will get the chance to meet the best guide ever. Basso, an incredible passionate and knowledgeable guide who speaks 3 languages perfectly, very kind, friendly. Is going to be there ready with answers to all your questions. He will be more than happy and pleased to answer you even when you stop him from speaking (sorry Basso) to show him a plant and ask about just because you are curious. Most probably you will get angry some people from the bus but that's make the trip more interesting. 😀 Highly recommend him! I will choose him again for sure next time! Thank you very much Basso for this incredible experience! Keep up the great work! P. S Was a great driver as well!

Aby’s day trip to El Hierro - We were the first pick up - right on time at 6 am. The group was bigger than I expected but our tour leader Bassu was a good organiser with all the stops, collecting ferry tickets and getting us on the ferry. The day was well timed right back to getting on the ferry ( the group were good at keeping to times) Favourite- view of La Playas with the Parador hotel lying next to the beach, smallest hotel made an interesting topic of conversation in the future We knew we would be last drop off way back and had already decide to get a taxi All in all a lovely day in another Canarian island

Long day but good - 5* for the company 4* for the Island. The tour was very well arranged and Passo our guide was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, organised and extremely friendly. Bus was very comfortable. Island has so much history and views are fantastic. 5 stops on route including a couple of viewing areas, towns, sea pool for swim. Good lunch. It is a long day with 5 hours out of 12 on the ferry.

Day excursion to El Hierro from Tenerife - Enjoyable day out albeit a long day. Tour guides were good. Had a fairly decent lunch with wine. Air conditioning packed in on bus and the guides arranged for another bus for us which was a bonus as it was a fairly hot day. Lovely island. Left hotel at 7.00am and got dropped off at about 8.30pm

Surely an interesting island to visit - We were unlucky; the first half day of our stay on the island was thick fog, we saw practically nothing. The afternoon was better. Booked a tour with an Englsih speaking guide who turned out to speak mostly Spanish and Italian and his English was somewhat limited and difficult to comprehend at times. Hovewer, El Hierro is surely an interesting place to visit on a good day.

Disorganised & do not handle your Personal Data Safely - We did a day trip to El Hierro this week, repeating what we thought was an excellent trip we did 2 years ago. We booked through "Excursiones Jesus" as done previously, but they must of changed Trip Suppliers, as 2 years ago it was with "Diga Tours" that did the tour, this year it was "Get Holidays". Just checked this companies itinery at its online site and first thing we noticed was it was meant to be a Max Trip No of "50". We were 90 people, split over 2 coaches, both full and crampt, with 55 persons on our coach. Pick up from hotel was on time, and we were in time for the ferry. On arrival at Los Cristianos Ferry Terminal, we are all told to get off the coach by the Company Representative, no further instruction but to follow him were given. (By the way, the voucher you had to prove purchase of trip had been taken off you, but no alternative ticket issued so you can not prove it was you on the trip) At Terminal we were told to stand around, no explantion of why, what was happening, or plan, just wait. After 15 mins we were told to board the ferry, given no ticket, we just walked on, no ticket checks, no passport checks, no proof of purchase on us, no idea who our guilde was (or she us, we discovered later on). Just walked on, then the Company Representative, with our vouchers, remained in Los Cristianos. Luckily I bumped into someone who I thought was a guide, and asked her what was happening. It turned out she happened to be our guide and did not know who she was guiding. The Company Representative had not told her anything, not who were her clients, not that they knew nothing of what to do, just told, here are 90 tickets, there are 90 people on board who do NOT KNOW who you are, or what is happening. I felt disgusted, and disgusted for the way they left the poor guide in the deep grief. Luckily she managed to get things sorted after many calls to "Get Holiday" and making sure passengers saw her while dis-embarking and being told where to go. Most customers unhappy by crap treatment of them, and complete lack of communications on what was going to happen to them by Company Representative. Our Tour Guide got sympathy as soon as we know she had been treated the same. Trip was OK after that, apart from no viewpoint visits, due to fog, but this is not on control of the tour, just unlucky. Lunch was OK and plenty of wine. 1 MAJOR ISSUE ARMAS PRINT YOUR NAME & PASSPORT DETAILS ON BOTH PARTS OF THE FERRY TICKET. So it is vital, that you have your own ticket, to keep your Own Data Protected. At the end of the trip, before boarding the return ferry, we were given a random ticket, not MY ticket, so I have someone elses Name & Passport details, and someone has mine. Evidently you can sell this, but won't as honest, but a lot pf people were upset about this. The morale of the trip is, go to "El Hierro", it is beautiful, just not with "Get Holidays". When you book, as the Agent who is the supplier, and if the above, change to another supplier, there are others out there, and from speaking to their clients on the boat bavk, they all had a good trip. SECURITY NON-EXISTANT Also for free trip over, as they do not issue tickets to get on board, or know how many are travelling or check off a check list, just go to Terminal, mingle with the large group and follow. You will need a ticket to get back as they checked them then, and they do tick you off getting on the bus in El Hoerro, so do not try and do the tour as well. Hopefully the ability to do this will be sorted soon by ARMAS.
