Upon entering the park, visitors will explore the renowned lava tubes, a distinctive geological feature formed by ancient volcanic activity. The adventure’s highlight is a moderate 2.5-hour hike to a 2,000-meter summit, offering breathtaking views of the park and its surroundings. This exclusive sunset trail leads through the area of the most recent volcanic eruptions, providing a sense of true solitude with almost no other hikers in sight. The trail offers stunning, ever-changing vistas: a unique contrast between the vividly colored volcanic peaks (red, brown, and ochre), distant islands, the expansive blue ocean, and the lush green forests below.
