The Ship of the Virgin, a replica of the Santa MarÃa, the ship on which Christopher Columbus discovered America. It was constructed in honor of the sailors from La Palma who embarked on voyages with sailboats crafted from local timber. Inside, there is a naval museum featuring charts and models of some of these ships made on the island.
