- Los Molles - The journey begins with a 187 km drive north of Santiago via the Pan-American Highway to the charming village of Los Molles and the hidden treasure, El Puquen Nature Reserve, an ideal location for hiking near Santiago, Chile.
- Salto El Puquen - Inside the park, a 2-hour trail walk awaits, tracing the cliff’s edge and offering breathtaking views of the rugged landscape and the Pacific Ocean. El Puquen Nature Reserve hosts around three hundred species of animals and plants, with nearly half being endemic. Besides its rich biodiversity, the reserve showcases geological wonders, such as perfectly flat terraces formed by natural erosion along the Chilean Pacific coast. From these natural balconies, visitors can spot sea lions and various birds. Another highlight is the “cold geysers” - narrow vertical caves about thirty meters high. One of these, particularly remarkable, is called Puquen, meaning “whale” in the indigenous Chilean language.
- Los Molles - After the hike, the group will return to Los Molles village to enjoy lunch at one of the local fish restaurants.
- Cachagua - Transfer to Cachagua
- Playa Las Cujas - This stop includes a 1.5-mile walk along a stunning coastal trail. Along the way, there are opportunities to capture incredible wildlife; from about 300 feet, visitors can observe a sanctuary for the unique wildlife, the Natural Monument of Isla Cachagua. In this protected area, 14 coastal and ocean bird species coexist, creating a delicate ecosystem. Among them is the Humboldt Penguin, a bird species native to the Humboldt Current, which flows along most of the Chilean coast and the southern part of Peru. The trail concludes at the serene waters of Playa Las Cujas on the beach at Cachagua.
- Santiago - After some rest, the driver will pick up the group for the return trip to Santiago.
