Visit to Oak Alley Plantation - pretty good! - It was a great visit and our driver was so funny. Even though it rained throughout he made it comfortable by ensuring AC was on in the bus. The plantation is pretty impressive and this one also has slave quarters so definitely a plus compared to the other plantation. A guide provides historical context inside the mansion. The souvenir shops and restaurants are nice. The grounds are awesome in Spring and Summer especially the oak trees! They pick you up and drop you back at your hotel so that was nice.

Great place - Oak Alley Plantation was a fabulous experience. It was so worthwhile. Our driver, Lorraine however was preoccupied while driving the bus which was dangerous. She was fidgeting with her phone and had a clipboard out and was trying to read it and mark things off while on the freeway.

Beautiful plantation, lots of history - The home is lovely and well cared for. The stories are terrible... value of the slaves, how they were traded, bought, sold and treated! Horrible to think how cruel humans can be. But the history lesson is absolutely worth it. Would gave been nice to have more time in the rooms. No photos are allowed in the main house at all which was bothersome to me.

Insightful and Enjoyable Experience - Trip was well organised, picked up from our NO hotel. Our journey to the plantation was narrated by our driver, who explained buildings and events of the area as we passed through the different districts. Plantation house tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was open to any adhoc questions. The house and grounds are beautiful, and packed of so much history. Highly recommended.

Crazy Ride! - The start to this trip was chaotic. We were picked up at our hotel and we were the only ones. Then we drove to another hotel and were told to get off that bus and get on one in front of us. Of course that one was packed and the only seats available were in the back. The driver was telling stories on the drive to Oak Alley but her microphone didn’t work! The grounds of Oak Alley were stunning and was worth the chaos.
