Great History of Churchill Downs - Emily was funny, relaxed, professional, and knowledgeable! Enjoyed her tour and the history shared. Would love to pay a little more for more access to the grounds instead of having to buy a whole other tour(s).

A must for horse racing fans! - We did the museum and track tour — a much different tour than we had 20 years ago. Disappointed in the tour we had, but it was probably our own fault for the tickets we bought… and visiting the day after the season ended! Missed seeing the paddock area and walking the grounds as we have in the past. The museum has amazing exhibits and tons of information for true race fans. Especially poignant to see the DWayne Lucas exhibit the day after his passing :-( We had kids ages 3-9 and they enjoyed the “Ari’s Horseshoes” and the racing horses (kids ride).

Beautiful grounds and see a horsey. Watch out for druggy panhandlers In The parking lot - Herald our tour guide was amazing 10/10 made the day he’s a derby legend and taught us the history behind the scenes and how to make a mint julep. The museum was beautifully done and gift shop clean and organized. Would give 5 stars but the parking lot had lots of homeless panhandling and drug type people begging for money the security man in his truck seemed not to care so I wouldn’t recommend going alone or taking grandma.
