Lourdes is a charming medieval town, renowned as the second most important Catholic pilgrimage site globally, following the Virgin Mary’s appearances to Bernadette Soubirous in the summer of 1858. Since then, the sanctuaries of Lourdes, situated along the Gave de Pau river, have drawn millions of visitors annually.

Upon arrival, the guide will highlight the key sites in Lourdes, including: The Crypt, adorned with stunning stained glass windows; the Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, featuring a Romano-Byzantine design; the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary; and the underground Basilica of St Pius X.

• Sanctuaire Notre Dame de Lourdes - Experience the spiritual ambiance of the Religious Town and visit the Massabielle Grotto, where Bernadette witnessed all 18 apparitions. Visitors can sample water from the springs or collect it in containers.
