The tour begins at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center and takes you through locations that influenced Kerouac’s early years, fueled his literary works, and embraced the vibrant spirit of the Beat Generation. Participants will have the opportunity to visit his park, view his typewriter, see the mill where his parents were employed, the high school where he played football, the library he regularly visited, and the bar where he spent much of his time crafting stories.
