Big Tarpon, big Crevalle Jack, family had a blast. - Went out with the wife and two daughters. First time Tarpon fishing. 23’ skiff. Fished maybe 5 minutes from dock in lagoon. Caught an 80 lb tarpon, a 20-30 lb tarpon, and a really big Crevalle Jack in 4 hours. Fights were 30 min, 15 min, and 5-10 min. Guide worked hard to help us land them, and gave us instruction during the fights. We had a great time and would definitely recommend. Side note, you can’t take tarpon over 40 inches out of the water in order to protect them (their internal organs are damaged by the gravity), so the photos you see of people holding them in the boat are older. But, getting it to the side of the boat is just as big a rush, and still good photos. Light tackle was 7’ rod, 5000 series reel, and it was a lot of fun on that size equipment. Guide had water and PowerAde for us on boat. Dock was right outside San Juan, easily accessible from San Juan, Loiza, Carolina, Rio Grande, etc…Highly recommend a trip to Old Harbor Brewing for food and drink after.

Best Captain ever! - Captain Fernando was amazing not only was experienced, knowledgeable, patient and just a down to earth kind of guy. Diego my 14yr old is a beginner so Fernando was very helpful with instruction when he caught his first Tarpon! Thank you again for the great memories.

BEST Fishing Trip 🇵🇷 - Abi was fantastic! His knowledge and experience of the waters had us getting tarpon to bite within the first 30 minutes. We each caught one of our dream fish. A truly amazing experience to remember. We will definitely be back thanks to Abi. His character and hospitality the entire trip exceeded all of our expectations and he truly made the experience even better. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ABI. A MUST DO TRIP here in Puerto Rico.

Good time on the water with dedicated professional. - The Tarpon and Snook Charter with Captain Alex was a fun and worthwhile experience. Everything was as advertised and accessible. Alex was personable and extremely knowledgeable about local fish, his craft and all factors relevant to the fishing charter. We found more fish than we hooked, but Alex consistently drew on his wealth on his wealth of experience to best position of for a successful trip. Would definitely recommend or repeat upon a return to San Juan.

Fun family activity - The trip was a fun experience for my family. My kids are older- 15 and 19 and they loved it! Our guide, Captain Fernando was great, knew the right spots to fish and gave a lot of helpful information. We did the evening trip and there was a lot of activity, plenty of bites and we caught 6 fish total! I would definitely recommend this excursion!

Great experience - Took my 14 year old, who loves to fish, on the two hour trip. He did get a catch at the end. Our guide was personable and made the experience fun. We did the two hour trip and if I did this again, I would book the four hour trip. Worth the money and my kiddo had fun.
