A “Day in the Life” with Your Shepherd Host Family - Day 1
Lepushe - Starting from Qafe Perdolec, meet your guide(s) at the cafe meeting point at 11 am, then embark on a hike to your host family’s summer encampment near Lepushe.
Upon arrival, you will be invited to participate in their daily routines for the next two days. Activities include milking sheep, accompanying family members as they lead their livestock to graze in the high pastures, experiencing home life within their Stan, and learning to prepare milk, cheese, and other local dishes as the Malesore shepherds have done for generations!
A “Day in the Life” with Your Shepherd Host Family - Day 2
Lepushe - After breakfast, you are welcome to join in the daily activities of your host family once more, or your guides can take you to visit other shepherd families in the area. This offers a chance to learn more about their lives and traditions while exploring the breathtaking surroundings.
In the evening, at a time of your choosing, your guide(s) will accompany you back to Qafe Perdolec before nightfall, concluding the tour.
