Ban Prang to Ban Nam Khouy

Embark on a hike from Ban Prang to Ban Nam Khouy, gathering ingredients for lunch along the way. Arrive at the Lahu village by 3:00 PM, enjoy the scenic viewpoint before sunset, and delve into Lahu traditions.

Ban Nam Khouy to Jungle Camp

Nam Ha NPA - Trek through the Nam Ha NPA valley, gathering herbs and learning about the local wildlife. Ascend to 1000 meters above sea level, entering an ancient forest. Reach the campsite by 3-4:00 PM, set up a traditional hunter camp, and prepare a Khmu jungle meal.

Jungle Camp to River Camp

Nam Ha NPA - Trek over hills and ridgelines, through shaded forests. Arrive at a stream-side campsite before sunset, enjoy a swim, and prepare a jungle meal using local plants.

River Camp to Ban Nalan

Nam Ha NPA - After breakfast, choose between: Option 1 (Approx. 3-4 hours): Cross the Nam Ha River, have lunch in Nalan village, and learn about Khmu culture. Option 2 (Approx. 5-6 hours): Hike through the Nam Ha NPA valley, enjoy lunch, and proceed to Ban Nalan. Check into a homestay, explore the village, and savor a local dinner and activities.

Ban Nalan to Chalernsouk or Nahome to Namlue

Nam Ha NPA - After breakfast, choose between: Option 1 (Approx. 4-5 hours): Hike uphill through the forest, enjoy lunch, and continue to Chalernsouk village for a tuk-tuk ride back to Luang Namtha. Option 2 (Approx. 5-6 hours): Follow the Nam Ha River to Nahome village, learn about Lanten traditions, and hike a challenging trail to Namlue village. Return to Luang Namtha by tuk-tuk in the afternoon.
