Form a connection with your steed; take care of its grooming, start off in the riding pen, and then proceed to amble and gallop into the open countryside. Choose from village paths, woodland tracks, or riverside routes to suit all riding abilities. For adults, the maximum weight limit is 65 kg and the maximum height is 1m70.

A must do in Luang Prabang - Great experience while vacationing in Luang Prabang. The staff is great, the owner is wonderful (she speaks French, English and Lao). The horses are cute and very well trained. It is perfectly safe for young children and first time riders.

Great Experience to try while in LP! - Saita, the sweet lady owner is able to communicate fluently in 3 different languages.. French, English and Loatian.. after we booked the tour.. was informed that we had just met the max limit ( weight or height ).. so we assumed this activity could have catered mainly to kids ..
Also, after booking, we received a message asking what time we preferred ..9am
Or 4pm.
It’s a lovely experience per previous reviews..
Totally recommend it!

Wonderful ride in NamKhan horse stable - I had a wonderful horseback ride at Namkhan horse stable ! The experience was incredible and really diverse, we even rode to the river and explore the forest near Luang Prabang. I 100% recommend it. The team is super attentive and friendly.

Magic moment on horseback - If you want to live a unique moment, reconnect with nature and animals as well as know a little more about Laos you will not be disappointed!
Superb experience, incredible scenery with great rides on horses typical of Laos.
The horses are as kind as they are naughty and Aurore and his team made me have a very pleasant time 😊

Amazing trek! - It was a magical experience. The trek is not only a horse ride but also a discovery of the local culture through the visit of an organic farm, different villages and a silk factory. Seita explains everything with passion and teaches us a new way of riding ethological horses that makes us think a lot about how we ride in Europe. Horses are adorable and treated with a lot of love and Seita is passionate, always smiling. I recommend!!

Fantastic morning of riding- highly recommend - Saita and her team provided our family with a fun, educational and well organised morning of pony riding. We had 4 children ranging in age from 5yrs to 9yrs, and the guides did an amazing job instructing and teaching them how to groom, ride and care for the ponies. The children rode through the countryside for 1 hour and our route included the bamboo village. The parents were able to join in by walking behind the riders. We all had an amazing time and I recommend it as a lovely way to spend a morning in Luang Prabang.

The best way to discover the surroundings of Luang Prabang - This stable is a little haven of peace for horses and humans! Between forest, river and traditional village, it is an excellent way to discover Laos from another aspect, with passionate and exciting people, who will be able to talk to you about their country and their horses for hours.
I had the chance to spend a month here, in this place where it is very easy to feel at home. The horses are all adorable and endearing, each in their own way. They are pampered by Saita, Kamphu and the volunteers, and it's impossible to leave without wanting to come back! Do not hesitate to come and discover this universe, you will not regret it

Definitely worth to visit - I was here for a River, forest and village ride and was totally worth it. I had a wonderful evening where I learned about the horses and also a bit more about Lao. Saita, the owner is a wonderful teacher and guide and speaks perfect english. I was a beginner at riding but she explained everything very well and made sure I felt comfortable at all times :) the ride itself was lovely, especially the river part, but it was great that i also brushed the ponies and learned how to put the horse saddle myself. Definitely a great experience if you a looking to do something else in Luang Prabang apart from the typical touristic things :)

Great pony riding experience in beautiful surroundings - My children age 4 and 8 have just ridden down to the river and had a great time. The ponies are fantastic and so well cared for and the children were really well looked after too. We would definitely recommend
