• Luang Prabang - A tuk-tuk will collect guests from their hotel after breakfast and transport them to a premier cooking school in Luang Prabang for an introduction to Lao cuisine.

Following a welcome from the chef, participants will visit the local fresh food market to learn about the regional ingredients and produce. The chef will provide guidance on selecting the best elements for a traditional Lao dish. Returning to the restaurant, the cooking adventure begins, culminating in a self-prepared lunch. The course covers the use of spices and herbs, as well as techniques for cutting and preparing various ingredients, spices, and vegetables. Each participant will have their own cooking station, equipped with all necessary tools for chopping, cutting, and cooking.

• Bamboo Tree Restaurant and Cooking School - During the morning, the culinary team will also share the history of Lao cooking and its influences from neighboring countries. Participants will then enjoy a delicious lunch of the exotic dishes they have prepared, a special moment shared with classmates. The chosen cooking school for this excursion is renowned for excellent customer reviews and is founded on the meticulous cooking skills of one of Luang Prabang’s top chefs. This informal gathering of passionate Laotian food enthusiasts and those eager to explore its delightful local cuisine concludes with a showcase and tasting of the final creations.

After enjoying the self-prepared lunch, a tuk-tuk will return guests to their hotel, arriving around 3 pm.
