Unforgettable Tour - Our guide, Martin, had vast knowledge and ability to transmit information in a very interesting and clear way. His ability to maintain solemnity and balance in a hard site to visit, Majdanek Concentration Camp, was impressive and much appreciated. We enjoyed learning history about Poland and Europe, past and present. Truly an extraordinary tour.

A Thoughtful Journey Through Tragic History - I had the privilege of taking a private tour with Marcin Hilgier to Majdanek Concentration Camp and the Old City of Lublin, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Marcin is incredibly knowledgeable and brought deep historical insight, compassion, and sensitivity to a subject that is as painful as it is important. His thoughtful narration made the horrors of the Holocaust feel more real and immediate—tied to the very ground we were walking on.
Throughout the tour, Marcin struck the perfect balance between historical detail and personal reflection. I came away with a much deeper understanding and appreciation for the history of this region and the magnitude of what happened there. I would highly recommend this experience—and Marcin in particular—to anyone looking for a meaningful, respectful, and enlightening visit.

Wow, wow, wow! - Marcin was beyond incredible. He made the whole experience worth every cent. We were heavily influenced by previous reviews and can’t understand exactly why they were given. Marcin gave us so much information including first hand insight into the impacts of WWII on his family. Although visiting Majdanek was quite heavy and emotional, Marcin was able to lighten the day by taking us to visit Old Town Lublin, enjoy Perogis with us and engage in conversation.

Great tour - Our tour guide Marcin was incredible! Friendly and very knowledgeable about Majdanek and the history of Lublin. He also ensured we were comfortable the whole time even though it was cold and raining the day we visited. The lunch was the cherry on top. Would highly recommend!

Great time! - Marcin was a phenomenal guide! Very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. He ensured that we were comfortable the entire time, even with the cold. Fantastic time with Martin - Martin was a phenomenal guide! He was kind, took his time and explained everything to us completely. The camp was very well preserved and the exhibits were in English, so everything was simple to understand. The day we went was very cold, but he took that into account to ensure our comfort throughout the trip. The lunch was delicious and filling! We wholeheartedly recommend booking with Martin!

Excellent - An excellent way to experience a very confronting historical site. I am so glad we were guided by Marcin who gave us a personalized tour as a private group. Very comfortable vehicle, seamless pick up/drop off. Great relaxed pace for the day. Delicious food in Lublin Old Town. Would recommend to anyone.
