The focus will be on the countryside just beyond the city, exploring roads free from traffic and enveloped by the area’s natural beauty.
• Chiesa di Sant’Andrea Apostolo di Gattaiola - Using this church as a landmark, the journey will take you through the charming towns of Gattaiola and Meati. These towns feature narrow country roads, lush greenery, olive groves, and tranquil landscapes, making them ideal for a peaceful retreat into nature’s splendor.
• Parco Fluviale del Serchio - The Riverside Park along the Serchio River extends for 11 km, forming a picturesque loop that can be explored on foot or by bicycle. The river’s diverse ecosystem hosts a wide variety of bird and plant species, offering a naturalistic marvel for visitors of all ages.

The tour commences south of Lucca, meandering through the delightful villages of Gattaiola and Meati, with their captivating country roads, before tracing the Serchio River along the Parco Fluviale. Here, participants can enjoy a leisurely bike ride on the 11 km of gravel paths, exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists, while appreciating the diverse ecosystem of the Serchio River. The journey then loops back through picturesque country lanes and olive grove hills, concluding at our shop.

Remember to bring a canteen, sunglasses, and a camera: this will be a memorable day.

Our bike tours are available on either a trekking bike or an e-bike. The trekking bike option is recommended for experienced and trained riders only.
Please note there is an additional charge of €25.00 for the e-bike.
Due to size constraints, the tour is open only to adults and children taller than 160 cm.

Tours commence every Tuesday morning at 10:00 and last approximately 2.5 hours, covering a total distance of 20 km.
