Rigi is Weggis, where a cable car transports you to Rigi Kaltbad, from which you can continue by cogwheel train to Rigi Kulm. Your ticket allows unlimited travel on the three transportation services throughout the day, enabling you to select your preferred route.

- Upon reaching Vitznau, board the cogwheel train to ascend to Rigi Kulm (departing hourly at xx:15)
- Relish the 360-degree views at Rigi Kulm, the peak of the Rigi! Be sure to explore the various photo spots.
- Catch the train (departing hourly at xx:00) towards Vitznau, and disembark at Rigi Kaltbad, where the renowned Kaltbad Mineralbad & Spa awaits you
- Immerse yourself and enjoy some tranquil hours in the mineral baths
- Proceed with the next train to Vitznau or take the cable car to Weggis
- Note that this tour is self-guided, no pick-up or tour guide can be provided for this tour
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately

- Children up to 15 years travel free of charge all year around when acommpanied by at least an adult on Mt. Rigi (please buy ticket on spot for the lake cruise and the Mineral Baths & SPA Rigi Kaltbad)

Gorgeous Mt. Rigi - My wife and I were in Lake Lucerne in early April this year. I purchased the experience without understanding how transportation to the mountain really works. Luckily our hotel concierge mapped out three different options for us. The package included the cogwheel train up to the top of the mountain, but be aware the price of transportation to the cogwheel train is not included. We decided to take the beautiful boat ride. Depending on your fitness level, I highly recommend getting off before the top and hiking as there are some magnificent views along the way with spots to take pictures/videos. Once we reached the top and enjoy the views for a bit, we walked back down, partway to where the Kaltbad spa is located. What a wonderful, relaxing and unique atmosphere. I highly recommend this excursion.

Spectacular views, a wonderful excursion - Wrap up warm!
The ferry leaves right outside Lucerne station. You can take any ferry that goes to Visnau, the views from the lake are spectacular. We were lucky with the weather, a bright blue sky day. The lake was like glass a very smooth journey..
The train was waiting at the station right next to the ferry drop off. A big bundle with all the fellow travellers but there was room for everybody. As the train ascends the mountain the views become more and more spectacular. The mountain was snow covered. Once at the top you can see another lake over the other sidewe didn’t spend long on the top. We walked about 35 mins down the mountain we were very impressed how clear the path was no snow, sludge or ice. It is very steep in places but not too bad you could just take the train back down to the spa. It was a very peaceful walk.
The spa was a welcome break to warm up and all the pools were perfect temperatures not too busy. It’s phone free but you get a wrist band that allows you to buy drinks and charge later. Bring your own toiletries. You can hire towels and even swim costumes! Unfortunately the sauna is naked only there are private changing rooms, and open door showers. The spa is very well organised and clean.
The train was waiting when we got outside and after another ferry ride back the excursion is done.
It’s a good day out we were very happy and felt we had done and seen loads.
Good value and I would highly recommend.
Tips, wear layers and a hat, sturdy shoes (I wore trainers which were fine but my feet got cold), maybe even walking sticks, to economise bring packed lunch and drinks for the ferry, bring your own towels and toiletries.

What a great day - We did a day trip to Rigi-Kulm and then Rigi Kaltbad for a spa and wellness afternoon. At the station we could do a combi ticket for the train and the spa. Great ! We had a good time

Nice experience for those in Lucerne - I recommend this one that offers a nice experience and can not disappoint
By the way, buying package on site costs more
It includes boat and train round trip which I found very convenient and the Spa is very nice with outdoor indoor pool and sauna herbs .. friendly and very helpful staff. To be redone😉

Perfect experience - Great and easy way to see mt Rigi and use the spa! Such a beautiful and breath taking location.
We went up to the top the the mountain first and did some nice walks before heading in for a spa to relax and wind down. The spa would have been better if there was better shower facilities and products for a nice wash to make the return journey home more comfortable

Great experience at the... - Great experience at the spa with the ability to hike Mt. Rigi beforehand. The rail trip up the mountain was awesome! Great views from the top of the mountain! Just note that if staying in Lucerne, you must book the boat ride from Lucern to Vitznau separately.

10/10 spa experience - This was so convenient! Pre-plan how you’ll get to Rigi mountain but once there it’s incredible. The spa was fabulous, just be prepared if you want to sauna that its textile free (so nude or with a towel). It was an incredibly relaxing day with beautiful views! Would recommend, especially if you do a hard hike the day before.

I find it a very... - I think it is a very good idea to combine the use of the railway with the admission to the mineral bath. The bathroom was very modern and the view from the outside was magnificent. Everything was very clean and welcoming including the bar inside.

Poor experience - The staff was not very helpful. The spa was hard to navigate. It became a pool setting with kids screaming and running around everywhere. Spa does not allow phone inside so was unable to read or relax on my phone.
