Forest Camp, Mardi Himal, Rythm Hotel - Today’s trek is quite manageable, featuring gentle slopes that guide travelers through terraced farmlands and a stunning Rhododendron forest. Along the route, hikers will come across the Australian camp, a remarkable viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the majestic Annapurna mountain range. This segment of the trek is a paradise for bird lovers, with opportunities to spot 488 bird species, including the striking Himalayan Monal (Danphe), Nepal’s national bird.
Forest Camp to High Camp (3580 m)
Mardi Himal - Today’s trail is enveloped in dense forests, primarily composed of evergreen trees. The vegetation here is lush, with vibrant jungles sprawling throughout. The path winds through these deep woodlands, occasionally offering chances for brief breaks along the way.
As the journey continues towards Low Camp, trekkers will pass through Rhododendron and Oak forests. This section of the trek is characterized by temperate vegetation. As the trek progresses towards High Camp, hikers will be treated to captivating views of Annapurna’s majestic peaks looming in the distance. As the path leads to High Camp, the effects of high altitude will become noticeable. It is crucial to be prepared for navigating several narrow ridges during the journey. Ultimately, the trek will reach High Camp, where travelers will rest for the night before continuing.

Badal Danda to Pokhara
Lakeside - The route taken during the ascent. From Badal Danda, the path diverges towards Sidhing, leading through dense forests at the base of Mt. Machhapuchhre. The descent becomes steeper and more challenging, with a trail that can be quite slippery. After about five hours of hiking, the journey reaches Sidhing, where a jeep will transport travelers back to Pokhara. Accommodations for the night will be at Lakeside in Pokhara.
