A Personal, Relaxed, and Fun Eco Tour with Exceptional Hosts - We took a 2‑hour zodiac eco tour with Expedition Nova Scotia in July 2025, and it was easily one of the most memorable boat trips we’ve done on any vacation. Beautiful coves, small islands, seals, and plenty of wildlife. Jason was a fantastic guide, and the small group made the experience personal and relaxed. We stopped at three islands to explore, learn about local biodiversity, and even pick wild blueberries. After returning to the dock, Jason and his wife Deb welcomed us with gin, homemade tarts, and great conversation around their patio fire. Deb’s handmade rope‑doormats were lovely, and she went out of her way to ship one to us when we couldn’t fit it in our luggage. Wonderful people and a top‑quality experience. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Way to Explore the Coast Line - The zodiac tour of the beautiful coast line was spectacular. Enjoying the ocean wildlife and historical knowledge of the local ways shared by our captain, Jason, was a great way to take in the beautiful scenery. And our youngest got the chance to operate the zodiac, so what can be better than that? Enjoyed the post trip snacks and drinks on the dock. A great way to close off the adventure. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Wish I could give six stars - Jason is an amazing tour guide. Easy-going and fun. His depth of knowledge is apparent, yet he explains aspects of nature and the history of the area in an easy to understand way. After the tour, everyone’s invited to join his family around the fire pit. It feels like you’re hanging out with new friends.

Fun and educational! - We had an awesome tour with Jason on a beautiful day in August. We saw many grey seals, harbor seals and beautiful birds and were able to get pretty close up. We had the opportunity to explore 2 islands and learned how to whistle with periwinkle shells! It was a fun and educational experience. Highly recommend. Thank you to Deb for sending us to Blue Rocks when we arrived early and were looking to explore the area.

Excellent experience!! - We had our own private tour with Jason on a slightly rainy morning. The waters were incredibly calm and the weather cleared to reveal the beauty of the southern shore. Jason has a wealth of knowledge of nature along with a keen sense of humor. We saw Eagles, all sorts of shore birds and seals. Stepping on shore was a great adventure. Deb had treats and drinks waiting when we returned. Check out their “art shack” on the property . We highly recommend this tour!!
