El Yunque National Forest - The day will start with a moderate to medium-level hike, where the local flora and fauna of Puerto Rico will be discussed, highlighting their significance in the island’s indigenous heritage. The hike is approximately 20 minutes into the rainforest (around 1 mile, or 4 laps around a track).
Upon arrival, belongings can be set aside as the group continues for another 10 minutes (0.25 miles) to reach the natural water slide for swimming. Life vests will be provided.
After everyone has enjoyed the water slide, the group will return to the belongings to experience some thrilling jumps and a rope swing.
To reward the effort, fresh seasonal fruit will be served! All activities will be documented with photos taken throughout the journey! Photos or it didn’t happen!
For those who have worked up an appetite, there will be a quick lunch stop on the way back.
Please note: lunch is not included in the tour price.

El Yunque attracts around 1.5 million visitors annually. While we cannot control the influx of tourists to the Caribbean’s most visited island during peak times, please inquire about private excursions if you desire a more private experience!

Puerto Rico es otra cosa! - Solo female traveler here! I had a lot of fun. The hike was a bit challenging especially as everything was wet and slippery but Tristan was amazing and was always looking out for me especially when I was straddling behind (because of my own insecurities with foot placement 😂) it’s definitely worth it!! Jump off waterfalls, slide down natural waterslides, crawl through a small cave! YOLO!!!!

El Yunque with 8 friends - Amazing excursion!!! Great views, the hike was a little difficult but doable. We got to do two water slides and jump off the cliff and had the option to rope swing into the water. Wear grippy shoes. This experience was amazing, Tristan really made us feel comfortable and was super kind!!

Great guide, great energy, super fun - Highly recommend! Really enjoyed the excursion and our guide Tristan had great energy. He had great communication with my group given uncertain weather. When we got rained out on our scheduled day, he got us up and running on the next. He made sure everyone was safe and having fun. Don't worry about bringing things with you, leave everything in the car! Wear sneakers or secure swim shoes for the hike.

If you love to be on the wild side; PLEASE do this! 💯 worth every moment! - I want to say this has to be one of the TOP 3 most favorite experiences I’ve done! SHOUT to Sebas! He took VERY good care of the ENTIRE group! I brought my young teen brothers for their birthday.! Sebas made sure the boys as well as the entire group was not only good but having fun! He educated us on the plants within el yunque. He took great pictures of the each couple/group!
The hike was my favorite (I enjoy mountain/rock climbing so it was a breeze for me)
Once you get past the mini hike; we get to the rope swing/cliff jump.! however, we still continue and go a bit further to what was my favorite part:! The natural water slide! Please if you aren’t a good swimmer use a life jacket. Currents are strong and water is deep.! However I promise it’s worth the experience.!
Then once we were done, Sebas brought out freshly picked fruit and cut it up on top of a banana leaf.! Having fruit right on the river bank just feels great!
Can’t wait to do it again!

Fantastic! - The tour of El Yunque with Tristan was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the rainforest. Tristan was attentive and made sure everyone was engaged and tailored the experience to the group’s pace. He made the whole experience fun and educational, and was super accommodating with everyone in the group. It was the perfect balance of adventure and learning — I’d highly recommend booking this tour if you want to really learn about and enjoy El Yunque!

unforgettable - I loved the tour! Our guide, Sebas, was great and was able to answer all my questions. I asked him thousands of questions about Puerto Rico and wanted to know the Puerto Rican culture and understand its perspective. I love that it helps you disconnect from technology and connect with nature. I was traveling alone and felt completely comfortable with the group. They organized everything very well and if someone was nervous about the water slide or anywhere, everyone helped you. I will always remember this experience.

Sebastián made the jungle come alive! 🌿 - The El Yunque rainforest tour was incredible! From the moment we started hiking through the lush jungle to the final splash on the natural waterslide, everything felt like a real-life adventure movie. Sebastián was the perfect guide! super funny, patient, and full of energy. He made everyone feel comfortable (even when the rocks got slippery 😅) and shared so many cool facts about the plants and waterfalls.
The natural waterslide was the highlight, pura adrenalina! I felt like a kid again sliding down into the turquoise water surrounded by jungle sounds. And the little swim in the waterfall pool? Qué mágico.
What I loved most was Sebastián’s vibe! always smiling, and making sure everyone was safe while still having the best time ever. He clearly loves what he does, and that energy is contagious.
If you’re visiting Puerto Rico, don’t think twice, just book this tour. Bring your sense of adventure, your GoPro, and let Sebastián show you what “la vida tropical” really means. 🌴☀️💚 p.s. He’a a good photographer!
