Participants have a buffer of 30 minutes check-in prior to official start time at Surfing Puerto Rico . We are located near the roundabout at La Pared Beach. You will meet your instructor in the sand by the Surfboards!

This was such a fun... - This was such a fun experience - the islands are gorgeous and the crew is incredible!! We plan on booking with them again when we are back in PR.

Excellent outfit for beginners looking to try surfing for the first time - Great staff and location for beginners and those looking for a refresh or to learn the beach. Sandy bottom makes it feel very safe, but the surfing section of beach isn't for swimming or snorkeling due to the rip currents. Great food/drinks nearby at Boardrider's capped of a great morning/afternoon in Luquillo.

Great first time on a surfboard! - We had the best surfing for beginners lesson with Surfing Puerto Rico. The team was just fabulous and took the best care of us. Even though the waves were rougher than usual, the teammate made sure we had as much time as possible in the water and were great coaches with useful tips. Learned a lot, had even more fun, and would definitely do it again!

You can do it! - My 2 daughters (23 & 21) took lessons. They both picked it up fast! They got to ride a lot of waves in. There were 8 people in the group and 2 people shared a surf board. This was good, because it was exhausting! The short break while the other one went was always much needed and appreciated! The instructors did a great job! I highly recommend this!

Fun family day! - We booked surf lessons for our family of 5 based on the reviews and were SO impressed. EVERYONE in our family stood up and surfed yesterday (ages 11-44). Our instructors (Angel, Clare and Miguel) were clear, kind and encouraging. They even took pictures capturing our surfing. If you want to learn to surf in Puerto Rico, book these lessons!

10/10 experience - Such a fun activity! The surf coaches were super kind and helpful. It about 25 mins on the land and then the rest is spent in the water surfing!

Great experience for beginners - Great lesson for beginners, allowed for lots of opportunities to surf. Would have preferred a board for each participant and more one-on-one instruction.
