- Grand Ducal Palace - Pass by the Grand Ducal Palace, the official residence of Luxembourg’s grand duke, where he conducts most of his duties as the head of state of the Grand Duchy. The palace features an old Renaissance section (1572), a middle Baroque and Renaissance section (1741), and the Chamber of Deputies on the right (1858).
- Cathedrale Notre-Dame - Visit this former Jesuit church from the 17th century, showcasing Baroque and Renaissance styles with Gothic elements. To the left of the nave, there is a forum dedicated to the Grand Ducal family. The adjacent College of Jesuits has been transformed into the National Library.
- Neimenster - Explore Neumünster Abbey, a cultural center and public meeting place located in the Grund district of Luxembourg City. After the original Benedictine abbey on the Altmünster Plateau was destroyed in 1542, the monks constructed a new abbey, “Neumünster,” in 1606 in the Grund.
- Auchan Kirchberg - The Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge, made of red-painted steel (1966), spans the Alzette. To the left is the Municipal Theater (1964), and to the right is the Monument Schuman (Father of Europe).
- Court of Justice of the European Union - The European Center Kirchberg, built in 1966 with 23 floors, serves as the seat of the European Parliament. The Schuman Center is the headquarters of the Council of Ministers.
- Dinant - On the return journey from Luxembourg to Brussels, visit Dinant, located on the banks of the Meuse River. Dinant is known for its brassware, including copper objects, and its specialty biscuits, particularly those made with honey.
- Citadelle de Dinant - Admire the Citadelle and the onion-domed tower of the Collegiate church, beautifully framed by the row of houses and shops along the river.
- Maison de Monsieur Sax - Dinant is the birthplace of Adolphe Sax (1814), the inventor of the saxophone. During your visit, explore the historical museum dedicated to him.

In the old part of Luxembourg, our guide will take you to the cathedral, the Palace of the Grand Duke and the Place d’Armes. In downtown Luxembourg you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Kirchberg district, home to several European institutions. In the valley, you will be able to see a trail of the Casemates, the abbey of Neumünster, the city walls and the picturesque sites along the river Alzette.
After some free time in the city, you will explore the quaint town of Dinant, with its fifteenth century collegial church and its impressive citadel. Dinant’s name originates from the Celtic “Divo Nanto”, which means “Sacred Valley”. This little town is dramatically perched on the narrow banks of the River MeuseI. This is the cradle of the Leffe beer and the birth place of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone.
