​From the moment we started our journey, Shazli’s passion for Egyptian history was evident. He doesn’t just recite dates and names; he weaves a tapestry of stories that brings the era of Ramses II and Nefertari to life.
​Standing before the Great Temple is a bucket-list moment, but having Shazli explain the nuance of every relief and the incredible UNESCO rescue mission made it a soul-stirring experience.

They picked us up from the house, during the trip they make a stop, almost at the end the guide explained a few things about Abu Simbel, after you will have about 1h30min to visit the site

A splendid discovery of Abu Simbel - The minivan was on time at 3:30 AM.
The drivers were polite, driving carefully.
The guide name Mostafa, is an egyptologist who explained to us the history of Abu Simbel with images, really interesting and well explained. I recommand 😀

TO FLEE - They dared to shift my reservation for the pyramids several times under the pretext that there were "no more places available", while I blocked and paid my reservation several months ago! The excursion was originally scheduled for Thursday, April 2. The day before (Wednesday 1st) at 7pm, I receive a last minute message to cancel and postpone to Saturday 4 April. At that moment, the agency commits and guarantees me 100% and in writing that everything is perfectly organized and closed (flight tickets, excursion, meals) and that I no longer have any worries to have.
And there, the coup de grace: this Friday, April 3rd at 1:15 pm, I receive another email announcing a new cancellation of the excursion... always for the same bogus excuse of "lack of seats"!
It's GU CRAZY... monumental and shameful amateurism on their part. It's an agency to flee urgently! Do not waste your time, energy or money with them!

Not worth your time - I definitely don't recommend the services of this company. I booked a guided tour to Abu Simbel. It is not worth your time. It is an extremely short visit considering the drive and the duration of the tour (over 10 hours). They start with very short talk in front of 1 of the temples, under 10 min, which would be the guiding of the day. No more info. Then, only 60 min. free time to visit the 2 temples. I don’t consider a 10 min talk a guided tour since there was no actual guiding. However, it is advertised as a guided tour wich is false. So, it felt pretty much as transportation only although booked as a guided tour.
I strongly suggest you do NOT book any of their services because of their very bad practices and bad tour planning.
