Great views! - The company is great and everything went smoothly. However there was no soft drinks provided, not a big deal but they shouldn't mention something that is not provided.

Broken promises and conflicting information, but an incredible experience. - In the run-up to our holiday with friends, I was looking for things to do. I found the hot air balloon flight and started to research it. Almost all the flights were early starts (from 04:30 onwards). One of the party is a train driver. He regularly has early morning starts at similar times. I was trying not to make this another work like experience. After several days of checking the times of all the many offerings, I finally found one company that was offering a start time of 08:30. I immediately booked this and it was duly confirmed. When I told the others, they were delighted and we all started to keenly anticipate the holiday and the balloon trip. Fast forward to the day before the ballooon flight and I receive a What'sApp message saying pick up time tomorrow is 06:30. I reply that our booked time is 08:30. Despite a prolonged exchange with Trip Egypt, the experience operator, they will not budge and I reluctantly have to tell the group that pick-up time has been significantly altered. We plan to get up at 05:00 to have some breakfast from 05:30. At 23:38, (though I do not see it until after 01:00) I receive another What'sApp message from Paradise Ballooons (the balloon flight company) to say our pick-up time is 06:15. This is especially galling as I don't feel able to let the others know until later. It causes us all to rush our time preparing and having breakfast, only to find that the minibus is late and then spends 20 minutes waiting for others who are due to be picked up, but don't show up. The actual balloon flight was lovely and to see so many in the air was amazing. If you wish to book this, be prepared for being messed around. All those involved should liaise much better and clearly communicate at least 24 hours in advance so the customer knows what to expect and doesn't receive conflicting information. SL.
