Amazing - We had an amazing full-day private tour with Hosney as our guide. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. He contacted us in advance via WhatsApp, explained all the details, confirmed the pickup time and location, and everything went exactly as promised. The tour itself was fantastic. Hosney has very good English and an incredible depth of knowledge. He explained not only what we were seeing, but also how the temples were built, how they were meant to function and why specific scenes are depicted in certain places. He even brought visual materials and pictures to help us better understand things we would never notice or understand on our own. What I really appreciated is that he actively engaged us during the tour, asked questions, and required our full attention, which made the experience much more interesting and immersive. It truly felt like a personalized experience — he clearly said that this was “our day” and that we could adjust anything we wanted along the way. Water was provided as described in the tour, and although lunch was not included, he took us to a great place with delicious local Egyptian food. We were very satisfied. Overall, this was one of the best tour experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommended if you want a deep, well-structured, and truly private tour with a professional guide.

We had an incredible and... - We had an incredible and very packed day exploring Luxor’s West Bank. The itinerary included the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens and several other fascinating stops. Both the driver and the guide were great. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, sharing rich historical context and answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. The pace was full but well-organised, allowing us to see so much in just one day without feeling too rushed.

Good but not best service 😕 - Major letdown about Luxor tour. Guide was average, and we had to pay extra for major tombs like Tutankhamun's, Rameses and one other. For the price, we'd expect atelast the major tombs to be covered.

We were guided by very... - We were guided by very kind and helpful Khaled who effectively moved around with us and shared main information about the monuments. He also kindly and honestly helped to arrange tickets for additional tombs for which additional tickets are needed. We give 4 and not 5 because we had the feeling that we were a bit rushed through all the places and the trip was much shorter than we expected (6 hours instead of 8 that are indicated in the description). We would have appreciated more time per place with more details about their history. Overall however we would recommend the trip because it allows to see the most beautiful places around Luxor.

Fine. Not the Best Not the Worst - Our Sudanese Egyptian guide H was good. He started out with spirit and vigor and care. He was always polite and patient. Our driver was always happy and gentlemanly. Overall I think the guide did a pretty decent job using a picture book to help us imagine the Kingdoms and describe the hieroglyphs' meaning. He even took a few pictures for us. But we dont care to see things like the pharaoh's toilet. He probably had more knowledge than he shared that day. Where we would have appreciated better service is the customization part. If we are paying for a premium private experience then the tour operator is responsible for reaching out regarding any itinerary changes and managing the logistics and time. For example, I asked if we should start earlier to squeeze in lunch and no one responded. The guide was lackadaisical about time. Yes "the day is ours" but please help us plan and keep us on track so we dont have to skip 2 sites. We were also not informed of the exorbitant cost and time it would take to visit Sety's tomb. We understand that you need to upsell but that ate up the schedule. We were also not made aware until afternoon that everything closes at 4:30pm. All of this could have been sorted out in advance had there been better planning and communication.

Mixed experience. - The guide answered many questions and has a good knowledge of Egyptian history, which made some explanations interesting. On the other hand, his attitude became significantly less engaging when we indicated that we did not want to visit bazaars. In addition, he insisted that we buy him additional tickets to visit certain tombs (notably those of Tutankhamun and Sethi I), which created some unease. This is unfortunate, as he seems to be a competent person and passionate about his subject, but this insistence has somewhat tarnished the overall experience.

The tour itself was... - The tour itself was average. They dint even take us to valley of queens, apparently because they take only limited entries. For sure valley of queens is mentioned in the tour and I paid for the ticket. If valley of queens is not possible, they should have mentioned it. A lot of history that the tour guide mentioned were lies.
