A spiritual journey - I took the tour with my mother. It was our dream to see egypt. We always felt like it’s a mysterious place with lots to see. But what we didn’t know was the spiritual part of this journey. Our tour guide was Ghada. She is a very knowledgeable lady. She is very passionate about the history you can tell by the way she is talking. She didn’t just showed us the places like the other guides she wanted us to absorb the past. She wanted us to imagine how it was in ancient times. She was creating scenes telling stories legends. I felt I understood better how the ancient egyptians were and felt like everything is connected to each other. If you are thinking about getting the dendera and abydos temples tour do it with Ghada. Amazing gaze makes history to be interesting and enjoyable - Our amazing guide Gheda really catches you with her splendid English and lividly explanations. If you get the chance to visit Luxor, ask for her to make history and presence understandable for all ages.

Most beautiful trip in my life - The trip was AMAZING and was AMAZINGLY conducted. We found NASCO Tours in the hotel we booked and by email they have been to organize ALL we asked for. This is what we did: - they came to pickup us (we were five) at Cairo Spinx Airport (many thanks to Abanoub who cared us with Visa and the first impact with Egypt) - brought us to the hotel and immediately to do the Pyramid tour (thanks to all excellent drivers) - there the Guide (Moustafa, excellent, thnaks again) gave us advices and knowledge and let us do an astonishing camel tour just behind the pyramids, I felt like Lawrence d'Arabia! - afterwords they brought us again to the Grand Egyptian Museum (again Moustafa great entrepeneur) - brought us again to the hotel and came the they after to get us to Cairo Int. Airport - from there we went to Luxor, always with a dedicated van which picked us up at the airport and brought us everywhere during the tour (thanks Kareem!) - in Luxor we had incredible time at Dandara's Temple, at the Valley of kings and the temples of Karnak and Luxor (many thanks to Adì, another really excellent guide) - two days after, again in Cairo (alway with private NASCO Tour van) to see the spectacular Egyptian Museum (thanks again to Mustafa) and go back home We felt cared for, pampered and safe. We knew that whatever we needed, NASCO people were there for us: kind and reliable. But all this would not have been possible if it had not been for Marina Magdy with her kindness, her availability (she answered my many messages even in the evening!) and her smile even when I made a mistake in pointing her to the right airport and she, always smiling, said: ‘I'll take care of it, don't worry. NASCO Tours and Marina thank you for making this the best trip of our lives!!!

Fabulous temples without any crowds - The travel desk at the Steigenberger Achti Resort in Luxor recommended this trip. We were a little reluctant as it is a very long drive to Abydos from Luxor. We don’t regret the decision to go. Dendara and Abydos temples are two of the most spectacular places we have visited on our multiple visits to Egypt. Full of colour and exquisite painted stone carvings. Our driver (Ahmed) and guide (Achmed) from Nasco tours were both great. Lovely air conditioned SUV, fantastic leisurely visits to both temples, timed to perfection, with exactly the right amount of historical explanation. At both places there were only a handful of visitors; such a contrast to the huge crowds at Karnak etc. we could spend as long as we liked at each temple. The opportunity to walk on the roof at Dendara was fabulous, I couldn’t get over my claustrophobia and visit the secret decorated crypt, my husband said it was fabulous. Our guide was a very genial companion for the day, and we greatly enjoyed the 10 hours spent in his company.
