Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. Constructed for the Eighteenth Dynasty pharaoh Hatshepsut, who passed away in 1458 BC, the temple is situated beneath the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari on the west bank of the Nile near the Valley.

Colossi of Memnon - On the return trip, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile.

Edfu to Kom Ombo

Temple of Horus - Breakfast is served on board. Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Dedicated to the god Horus of Behedet, lord of Edfu, the Temple of Horus is the most renowned monument at Tell Edfu. Its completeness and preservation make it the finest example of a Ptolemaic temple in Egypt. Aswan

Aswan High Dam - Breakfast on board, then sail to Aswan. Visit the High Dam, a rock-fill dam located at the northern border between Egypt and Sudan. The dam is fed by the River Nile, forming Lake Nasser. Construction began in 1960 and was completed in 1968, with an official inauguration in 1971. The total investment in the dam’s construction reached $1 billion.

Unfinished Obelisk - The unfinished obelisk is the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt in Aswan (Assuan), Egypt. Archaeologists believe the female pharaoh Hatshepsut commissioned its construction, though modern engineers question whether the Dynastic Egyptians could have completed this task.

Temple of Philae - Dedicated to the goddess Isis, the Temple of Philae is set in a picturesque location, landscaped to resemble its original site after being relocated by UNESCO due to the Aswan Dam’s construction.
