Awesome experience. Would do again. - Great experience cruising down the Nile for a few days. All the staff on board were lovely and really accomodating. Food was plentiful and tasty. Very good experience for the price especially considering the cost of some of the other boats. Communication as to schedule was a bit confusing but this may have been because the tour company that booked us on this boat didn’t give us correct times for trips etc so probably not the boats fault. My partner did get sick while on the boat but hard to know if that was from the boat or something else. Overall would do again. Thank you for the trip.

Great cruise - specious large room with great view. food was good and plenty of verity. Reasonable cruise cost. Great value for the money. Great staff very friendly. Temples visit in between with guides, free pickup and drop. Over all had great experience A whats up group was created for me & my family by Enjy , the tour coordinator and she was all the time available and helping. She made the cruise experience wonderful. Internet is not free but not very costly. Quality not that great as ship moves

From Sobek to Ramses IX - We have had an amazing time touring the sites. Purchasing admission tickets and go-cart transportation is simple. Visa for entrance tickets and Egyptian Pounds for transportation. We had ample time to visit each site and take lots of pictures. Don’t overdress - you walk a lot and heat up quickly. Bring lots of water. The vendors can be aggressive so have a thick skin and stare forward. A simple “No” will suffice and they should back off. Tour guides are knowledgeable. If you’re lucky to get Nervien you’ll have a fantastic time. She’s the best and we highly recommend her.

An unpleasant experience - I booked a 2-night, 3-day Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, and what should have been a relaxing experience turned into an extremely stressful and frustrating ordeal. Two days before the cruise, I suddenly received a WhatsApp message saying that the standard cabin I had booked months in advance was “not available anymore” because everything was fully booked. I was told I now had only two options: 1. Pay an additional 250 USD in cash to “upgrade” to a deluxe cabin, or 2. Cancel and get a refund, effectively ruining my entire Egypt itinerary. When I contacted Viator, they initially framed the cancellation as “technical issues,” which was clearly not the case. The whole situation felt like intentional last-minute upselling — essentially blackmail. By that point, canceling would have destroyed my plans, so I reluctantly agreed to pay the extra amount (which I had to negotiate to pay in Egyptian pounds because I am not from the USA and did not carry USD). Upon arrival, things didn’t get better. • The receptionist had absolutely no idea about my booking, even though I showed him the confirmation. • Communication was extremely difficult because the staff’s English was very poor. They tried to help, but I had to ask the same questions multiple times to get basic information. • The ship itself was nowhere near “deluxe.” The AC smelled terrible, the furniture was old and worn-out, and the bathroom had wooden tiles that were unevenly installed. • My cabin was located near the back of the ship, and I constantly smelled fumes, likely because it was close to the engine room. • The rooms were clean-ish, nothing more. The food was ok-ish, definitely not what you’d expect after being forced to pay for an upgrade. • The “breakfast/lunch box” provided during the transfer to Aswan was honestly a joke — extremely poor quality and not what you’d expect on a supposedly upgraded cruise experience. To be fair, the drivers who handled the transfers were very polite, clean, and drove safely. They were the only part of the service that felt professional. The guides also often arrived late or changed the meeting times without notice, which added unnecessary stress. Nearly every day, I had to text the coordinator to figure out what was happening next. What saved the experience slightly were the Nile itself and the incredible temples — the natural beauty and the sights are stunning. But the cruise operator had nothing to do with that. Overall: This was a deeply unpleasant experience, marred by poor organization, terrible communication, and what I genuinely believe was a deliberate attempt to upsell at the last minute. I left feeling cheated and stressed rather than relaxed. The Nile deserves better than operators who treat customers this way. I absolutely do not recommend this cruise or this company.
