• Temple of Karnak - As Egypt’s largest temple complex, Karnak is located in a village approximately 2.5 km north of Luxor, right on the eastern bank of the Nile. The oldest visible structures of the temple date back to the 12th dynasty under Pharaoh Sesostris. Noteworthy among the ruins are the Temples of Amun-Re, featuring a total of ten pylons. The temple spans about 30 hectares, with the Amun district being the largest area. Visitors can explore the holy lake, the red chapel, the white chapel, the alabaster chapel, and the temple of Opet. • Colossi of Memnon - The Colossi of Memnon are two massive ancient Egyptian statues from the 14th century BC, located in the Nile Valley near the Valley of the Kings in Thebes-West. These quartzite statues depict King Amenhotep III seated on a throne and stand approximately 18 meters high, including the base.
• Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut - Dating back to the 18th dynasty, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut is the best-preserved temple in Thebes on the Nile’s west bank. Constructed from limestone, the temple was built over approximately 15 years, from the 7th to the 22nd year of Queen Hatshepsut’s reign. The temple is renowned for its unique architecture.
