- Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, you will be picked up to begin an unforgettable day by traveling to the west bank to visit the Valley of the Kings. Here, pharaohs from the New Kingdom carved their tombs into the mountains to conceal their treasures and protect their mummies.
- Howard Carter House - Next, drive to the domed mud-brick house where Howard Carter resided during his search for Tutankhamun’s tomb. Surrounded by a garden on an otherwise barren slope above the road from Deir Al Bahari to the Valley of the Kings, the house has been restored and decorated with pictures and tools from the excavations. An exact replica of Tutankhamun’s burial chamber has been constructed at the garden’s edge, along with an exhibition related to the tomb’s discovery.
- Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Then, visit the mortuary temple of the renowned Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari to discover her magnificent temple and intriguing story with her nephew.
- Art Valley Alabaster Factory - Afterward, you will have the opportunity to visit the alabaster factory, where people still bring stones from the quarry and craft them into various handmade items, just like the ancient Egyptians.
- Tombs of the Nobles - Luxor - Next, move to the Valley of the Nobles, a collection of noble tombs in Luxor, including those of Ramose, Senniffer, Menna, and over 400 Theban nobles. These tombs are marked by numbers and feature beautifully carved scenes. Nestled in the foothills opposite the Ramesseum, there are more than 400 tombs.
- Ramesseum (Mortuary Temple of Ramses II) - Proceed to the Ramesseum Temple, considered the memorial (or mortuary) temple of Pharaoh Ramses II. It is located in the Theban Necropolis in Upper Egypt, on the west bank of the Nile River, across from the modern city of Luxor. The design of Ramesses’s mortuary temple follows the standard canons of New Kingdom temple architecture.
- Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina) - Continue to the Valley of the Artisans, where the workmen responsible for constructing the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings lived during the 18th, 19th, and 20th Dynasties of the New Kingdom period (1550-1080 BC). Enjoy exploring the ruins of the village settlement, the Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the goddesses Hathor and Maat, consisting of a small building within a mud-brick enclosure wall, and two of the finest decorated tombs of Sennedjem and Inherkau.
- Habiba Hand Weaving - Then, move to Habiba for hand weaving, specializing in hand-woven scarves made from Egyptian cotton, linen, and wool. On-site local hand weavers also sell machine-made scarves and shawls in cotton and cotton blends. In a rural setting on the west bank in Luxor, with views of the nobles’ tombs, women continue to work and create handmade cloth from pure cotton, providing an experience of how they still use handmade machines.
- Colossi of Memnon - Conclude your tour on the west bank with a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon.
