• Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut - Also known as Deir el-Bahari, the Temple of Hatshepsut is an ancient Egyptian funerary temple situated on the west bank of the Nile River near Luxor. It was built for Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs of ancient Egypt, who ruled in the 15th century BCE (approximately 1479-1458 BCE).

The Temple of Hatshepsut is celebrated as one of ancient Egypt’s most extraordinary architectural accomplishments. It was designed by Senenmut.

• Colossi of Memnon - The Colossi of Memnon are two enormous stone statues located on the west bank of the Nile River near Luxor, Egypt. They are the remnants of a larger mortuary temple complex constructed by Pharaoh Amenhotep III in the 14th century BCE (approximately 1350-1334 BCE).

These statues portray Amenhotep III seated on his throne, each standing about 18 meters (60 feet) tall and weighing around 700 tons. Carved from single blocks of quartzite sandstone, they were originally positioned at the entrance of the pharaoh’s temple, serving to guard the temple and symbolize the pharaoh’s divine power and authority.
