Wine, history, and more! - Sebastian made this a wonderful experience. The instructions were clear on where to meet and he explained the events for the day. We headed out in a van from Lyon to Beaujolais. We first visited the town of Oingt, then headed to a winery, then on to Sebastian's family winery, lunch in a small near by town and closed out the day by visiting another medival town, Pérouges. Sebastian shared facts and history of each town as well as information about Lyon so, when we returned to Lyon, we were able to check out a few areas on our own that he had mentioned. I highly recommend booking a tour with Sebastian. He is knowledgable not only about Beaujolais, its wine, but also the history of the area and Lyon.

A fantastic day tour in Beaujolais region - Oliver is a fantastic guide, very relaxed and accommodating, even did an extra stop so two girls on our tour could get breakfast. Loved the two wineries we visited and the restaurant he chose for lunch. Also visited Oingt as well as Perouges. Highly recommend this tour

A wonderful way to spend a day when in Lyon. - I just loved this day. We had a great group of people on our bus, Oliver was amazing, he gave us lots of interesting information and looked after us beautifully. We did 2 medieval villages and 2 wineries with generous pours of wine. It’s a long day but it’s really is perfect. We also stopped for a delicious lunch in Marcy. This was the most picturesque, joyful day and my husband and I just loved it. Thank you Oliver for a wonderful tour - I highly recommend this tour if you are in Lyon.

A very fun day with... - A very fun day with Sebastian- the highlight was visiting his family's winery and learning more about Beaujolais. We also got to see backroads and small towns that we would not have had the opportunity to see if we had been with a large tour. An amazing lunch, two wine tastings and a nap in the van on the way back. Would highly recommend!

Great day with Olivier - We took an all day tour of the Beaujolais Region with Olivier along with five other guests. We visited Chessy and Perouges and two wineries. We also stopped for an excellent lunch. The leaves on on the vines had turned color but had not yet dropped and they made for an excellent backdrop for our pictures. Olivier showed us several vistas for pictures that we would never have found by ourselves. He also arranged for a vineyard tour by 10th generation owner of a family vineyard to explain how the grapes are grown and how the wine is made. Afterwards we went to his tasting room and Olivier led a tasting of the wines made at the winery (the second of the day). We also visited Chessy and Perouges which were different but both ancient and amazingly beautiful. Olivier explained the history and pointed out interesting details. It was a very good day.

Fantastic tour, definitely recommended - Fantastic trip, our guide was very attentive to our needs. He even adjusted some of the wines during our Wine tasting to accommodate a few members who preferred rouge instead of blanc or bubbly wines. We had a great time in Pérouges! It was great that we got there early so we had the town almost to ourselves. It started raining, but he was ready with umbrellas for us. He even dropped us close to the hotels and stations for an easier trip home.

A long day - It was a long day. The small towns were pretty quiet, very few shops open. The family owned vineyard was the highlight, meeting and interacting with the owner. The lunch stop was enjoyable, great menu choices and delicious.

a pleasant day in Beaujolais - The view of the misty valley landscape from up on the hills was a beautiful spectacle. The golden stone villages on the route to the vineyard were unique. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Dominique Guillard's vineyard where we learned about his natural approach (lutte raisonnée) to viniculture and wine making where he doesn't add pesticides, fertilizer or water. His wine was delicious. Olivier was a friendly, knowledgeable guide who made our tour so enjoyable.
