Meet us at the exit of the train station in Macon Ville, a small station with a single exit and we're easy to spot: just look out for the vintage Land Rover!

Must-see to discover the region! - I tested the Insiders experience to introduce friends to the region, we had a great time! An adventure that combines discovery, conviviality, gastronomy, originality and passion: I highly recommend.

Grateful to have the chance to experience the culture, people, food, and wine - We had a magical day with Benoit touring the Maconnais and Beaujolis regions, learning both about the land and the wine growing and making process. We met several wonderful, passionate growers that shared their knowledge and beautiful wines with us while also being able to take in the beautiful scenery and history of the area. We cannot thank Benoit enough for this unique and memorable experience, which included cheese and charcuterie, a tour of a castle, and stop for a delicious lunch, with his knowledgeable storytelling. We left feeling grateful we had the chance to experience the culture, people, food, and wine- it changed our views of wine and left feeling more educated than ever before. Bravo Insiders and bravo Benoit!

Great Experience in Mǎcon and Beaujolais Region - This trip was an amazing time for me and my fiancé! We thoroughly enjoyed our private experiences with our tour guide Benoit. He did a phenomenal job planning the entire day for us. We got to enjoy the Mǎcon area for some tasty white wines, and after a delicious lunch in this beautiful lively, little restaurant, enjoyed tasty red wines in the Beaujolais region. Benoit handled everything for us, from tickets to and from Lyon, setting up each tasting experience, providing a bread and cheese charcuterie board, while giving us fantastic information about the regions and wines themselves. Each winery had its own unique feel, providing many generous pours of their own wines, from true French countryside wineries to large scale vineyards. We were able to see all the sights of the regions and visit a total of 4 vineyards in a full day experience. No parts of the day felt rushed and was well worth it! We highly recommend Benoit and this experience for any future travelers.

100% FIVE STARS – Private Winter Wine Day - Five stars, without a doubt. This wine tour with Amelie and Elodie was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We were on our honeymoon, and when you only have a few days, every single day matters. Booking experiences feels really important, and we could not have trusted a better team than the Insiders.
This was a full day of wine, cheese, and unforgettable moments. We honestly still cannot believe how special it was. The highlight was a home cooked meal at a local bed and breakfast, which felt so warm, personal, and welcoming. It was one of those moments where you just sit there thinking, how could anything ever top this?
What made this experience truly exceptional was how personal it felt. At every winery, we met the actual winemakers themselves. Every single one! We learned about the region in such intimate detail, and the people of Beaujolais were unbelievably kind, genuine, and excited to share their wines with us. Even in winter, the charm of the region shines, and the joy and pride they have in their cru wines was so special to experience.
Amelie was absolutely AMAZING. She is incredibly knowledgeable and curated the day so thoughtfully. We will forever be thankful for the care she put into making this such a meaningful experience. Elodie who joined us as she was training to be an insider was just as wonderful. So kind, so knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about wine. It truly felt like we were spending the day with experts who genuinely wanted to share the very best of the region with us.
This was the most satisfying day of wine and food we could have imagined, and one we will remember forever. If you are considering an Insiders experience, especially for something as special as a honeymoon, you can truly trust them to make it unforgettable!!! Five stars!!!

Very original activities like a blind tasting in an incredible castle!
And I discovered more than wine culture, also anecdotes like the one about the Templar treasure!

Fantastic experience - Fun day out with the family, the grey sky didn’t alter the time spent with Melanie which was great fun all day long. We learnt so much and saw so much that the day went by in no time. Thank you Melanie, this was the best day of our trip!

Great day out in wine country - We decided to wait for the end of our 2 weeks trip around France to decide what the lights were and this was it, a great, fun authentic, warm and human tour in Beaujolais to discover their wine and food.
What was special about this was the human touch, those guys genuinely care about their guests and we didn’t feel like clients at all. We were greeted by winemakers (THE winemaker, not a head-of-wine-tourism-experience person) and had great talks about their wines.
If you do one thing while in Lyon, aside from eating too much, DO THIS!

I was back for more and wasn't disapointed - I took out friends because I had absolutely loved my last tour, and was once again delighted! The Land Rovers were the sturdy beasts we needed, we had 4 tastings of 5 wines (I admit to spitting most of them otherwise I'd never have finished the day) and most stops offered a charcuterie and cheese board for pairing (which I did spit). Lunch was in a most unusual place and simply brilliant. That was clearly a secret spot because not a single influencer could be seen recording themselves, and I intend to keep it that way...
I'm particularly grateful to our Insider Aldric for his time and patience with my million questions and for making me discover new places (I would have been perfectly happy doing the same tour as last time but apparently that would have been insulting or something). Highly recommended to everyone who enjoys wine, the countryside and being chauffeured around with regular stops for snacks or anecdotes...
