• Office of Tourism and Congress of Metropolis of Lyon - At 8:50 am, the English-speaking guide will greet participants at the main entrance of the Lyon Office de Tourisme building on Bellecour Square (50 meters opposite Le Royal Hotel). After a brief walk, participants will board an 8-seater minivan to embark on the Cotes du Rhone wine tour.
• Theatre de Vienne - Begin this full-day wine tour in Vienne city with a breathtaking view of the Rhone Valley from Notre Dame de Pipet Mount. With the guide, discover the various grape varietals of the Northern Cotes du Rhone, the crus wine appellations, and the region’s “terroir” philosophy.

Take a moment to admire the magnificent ancient Roman theatre as the guide shares the captivating history of Vienne’s wines, renowned in Rome 21 centuries ago.

• Ampuis - Travel through Ampuis town, the world capital of Syrah, and visit the “Cote Rotie” vineyards, literally “roasted hillside.” Drive along the steep, vertigo-inducing terraced slopes of “Cote Brune” and “Cote Blonde,” and appreciate the 30 to 60-degree angled hills basking in the sun, overlooking the beautiful Rhône River.
• Malleval - At 10:45 am, visit the first winery and uncover some secrets of Rhone wine-making expertise. Walk through the barrel room and discuss the art of aging wine. Then, proceed to the wine-tasting room to sample 3 white and 3 red wines, including Condrieu, white & red St Joseph, and the famous Cote Rotie appellation.
• Les Roches-de-Condrieu - Enjoy a delightful meal at a local restaurant serving Cotes du Rhone cuisine. The guide will gladly translate and explain all the different courses! Menus start from €20 during the week (special of the day) and €25 on weekends. Lunch is NOT included.
• Condrieu - In the early afternoon, cross Condrieu, the birthplace of the Viognier grape, which produces the world-famous white wine. The group will learn about its unique history and how this grape varietal nearly became extinct a few years ago.

Then, visit a family winery and taste 5-6 different Cotes du Rhone wines, including Condrieu, St Joseph, and/or Cote Rotie appellations.

• Chavanay - Finally, stop at a third winery to indulge in another 5 exquisite Rhone wines: take time to savor the intense aromatic Viognier and the near-perfect Syrah grape of the Northern Cotes du Rhone in their original terroir.
• Office of Tourism and Congress of Metropolis of Lyon - At 5:15 pm, the guide will drop participants off at Bellecour Square in front of the Lyon Office de Tourisme.
