Wonderful Experience! - My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. We got to taste a wide variety of local foods, many of which we would not have known to try otherwise. Our guide, Nathalie, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. I would recommend her and this tour to anyone.

Perfect introduction to Lyon - This tour was exactly what we were looking for. We learned about the history and culture of Lyon while sampling truly incredible local foods and exploring the passages. The length was nice because it felt thorough without being too long. Our tour guide Luce was exceptional!

Lyon old town - The old town of Lyon is well worth a visit with old streets and the 'traboules' (hidden covered passageways) unlike anything I have seen before. The variety of shops is immense but you can soon get away from it all walking by the river Soane or Rhone - a real delight.

Must do Tour in Lyon! - We did this tour last Saturday morning. It was a super hot day but our tour guide made sure we walked in the shade and drank plenty of water. The venues we visited proved seating at most, which I really appreciated as you don’t have to walk and stand the entire 4 hours. There was a great variety of venues and the food and wine was generous portions compared to other food tours I have done. The stories of food and the history of Lyon were well paced and delivered. This tour is a must for anyone visiting Lyon.

Get your taste - We had a wonderful experience that we recommend to everyone. We purchased the tour with the help of Get your guide. The tour took place in Vieux Lyon, with stops for stories and snacks. Nathalie is a very good storyteller, friendly, knowledgeable about the history of the city and, especially, the history of the dishes we tasted. We liked the cheese from Thierry (Cremerie Lyonaise), the cold cuts from BMD, the traditional food from Les fines gueules, the ice cream with unexpected flavors from Fabrique Givree. Thank you, Nathalie, for a day of good taste and beautiful stories!

Perfect First Day in Lyon - We had never been to Lyon before, and this tour was a fantastic introduction to the city, and set the stage for the rest of our time here. Our 4+ hour tour focused on Lyon's charming Old Town, Vieux Lyon. But our guide, Nathalie, provided us with incredible amounts of information about the history of the entire city, and all the reasons food is such a big part of the culture. Every place we stopped and every bite we consumed held a piece of Lyon's history. it was an impressive tour, and Nathalie was a wealth of information.
We had more than enough food for lunch, and in fact barely needed dinner. Not only did we have a wonderful tour, but Nathalie kindly provided personalized information to each of us to help us with the rest of our time in beautiful Lyon. We highly recommend the tour, and suggest doing it on your first day in the city.
