A Tasty Introduction to the Food, Culture and History of Lyon! - This was our first visit to Lyon and our guide gave us a wonderful introduction to the history of, architecture and foods to be found in the Old Town of the city. We enjoyed walking along narrow streets and through “secret” passageways. The servings of different local specialties such as a charcuterie board, a very sweet Pauline, and a quenelle were very generous and tasty!

An expert food and history, tour of Lyon! - What a great way to see Lyon while tasting your way through this beautiful city! Anna is authentic, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. Our group was small and intimate which made for a very pleasant experience. Anna provided a sample of many local delicacies along with an explanation of their historic significance. In addition, to the tour she also provided many restaurant recommendations and other sites to see in the city. We can highly recommend this tour.

A Must-Do Food Walking Tour of Old Lyon! - Anna provides a fabulous walking tour of old Lyon, complete with history, stops for delicious food (some sit downs, some tastes), and a trip through a traboule. The tour we signed up for was in English, which Anna (who is French) speaks very well. I have a specific food allergy, which Anna asked about ahead of time. At each stop, she would let me know if I could taste the food or not due to my food allergy. We did the tour on our first day in Lyon, and I'm so glad we did! This experience helped us understand and navigate Lyon in a much deeper way for the rest of our time in Lyon. We can't recommend this tour enough! And if you are seeking something more tailored to your small group, Anna is able to work with you.

Anna local Lyon food walking tour guide - GREAT! Highly recommended - Anna was GREAT. very knowledgeable about local food, customs, history of Lyon. Also excellent suggestions of other things to see and do while we were in Lyon and the area. She kept things moving and the 3 hours went by FAST. We did the tour with her on Thursday September 11, 2025 from 11-2pm. There was a group of 6 of us. Her voice carried very well, despite some loud noises around us, you could hear her clearly.

Take the tour, listen to Anna, you can’t go wrong. - Anna was fantastic. Hilarious, knowledgeable, and gave great food recommendations; not just for the tour itself, but afterward. She told us about a great place to visit when we’re in Provence, and she was not wrong! Would highly recommend.

Cancelled at last minute - Our tour was cancelled the day before the event. The next date available was over a week away. The option to rebook was over a week after our scheduled tour so it was not possible to revise. Ironically, the other 2 tours I booked through Trip Advisor in Lyon changed their dates or time. What's up in Lyon?
