- Rue du Bœuf - I will introduce you to Lyon’s rich culinary heritage, including the history of the ‘Bouchons’ and their traditional recipes. We’ll also discuss how Paul Bocuse and Mère Brazier helped popularize this cuisine.
- Palais de justice historique de Lyon - I will show you the River Saône and the Palais de Justice de Lyon. I will introduce you to Lyon’s history during World War II, when it was a key point for the Resistance. We will talk about Jean Moulin, a key figure of the French Resistance, and Klaus Barbie, the chief of the Gestapo, who was judged in this courthouse more than 30 years later!
- La Place des Jacobins - I’ll take you through the beautiful squares of this renovated neighborhood, showcasing the new Lyon built in the 19th century for its wealthy residents. We’ll also have a chance to discuss what it’s like to live in Lyon today.
- Grand Hotel Dieu - I will show you the Hôtel-Dieu of Lyon, which was a grand hospital for centuries. We’ll explore this impressive building, which has now been transformed into a mall.
- La Place Bellecour - We’ll conclude the tour at Place Bellecour, one of Lyon’s main squares located in the city center. I’ll reveal some hidden secrets of the square, and we’ll end by visiting the lesser-known statue honoring Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the Lyonnaise author of The Little Prince.

Charming, energetic and knowledgeable - Quentin was charming. He was energetic, waited for everyone to arrive before speaking and had a deep knowledge of Lyon and the old town. We enjoyed the tour.

Education with Humour! - Amazing energy on a hot day - great mix of anectodes and facts! All told in a matter of fact style with humour - I will remember some/all of what he said - and I did read Le Petit Prince on my way home (you will have to join him to find out why!!).
His style was delightfully all inclusive ... I highly recommend spending a couple of hours in his company!

Recommended tour for 1st time visitors to Lyon - Quentin was very knowledgeable. Took us through traboules. The tour is mainly recommended for tourists who are visiting Lyon the first time.
Interesting examinations about the Resistanceת Klaus Barbie and his trial.

Fabulous guide! The best! - We are on a tour of France and we had really not researched Lyon well at all. Fortunately for us this tour helped fantastically. Quentin is informative, friendly and funny! We went on to visit 3 of his recommendations later the same day which we likely would have missed if it wasn’t for him. Simply a must do in Lyon- do not hesitate to book with Quentin!

We learned a lot and had such a great time during the tour. Quentin was a fantastic guide, he shared information in a simple yet impactful way. Thanks to his storytelling, we felt the spirit of the city much more deeply. This tour truly changed how we see the city. Definitely a must-do experience!

Excellent Value - We always try and get a walking tour whenever we visit a new city. This tour is the best value tour we have been on. Quentin certainly knows his history of Lyon. From the Basilica to all of the local statues and the Traboules he showed us as much as could be done in 90 minutes.
