Must do if you are visiting Essaouira! - In February, I was part of a private group workshop where we worked with old coins to create a pendant. I then recently decided I had a ring design in mind and so I went to visit Rashid who helped me design the ring, find the stone, and then we set to work! I was blown away by the result, they also have other designs for purchase in the shop which I bought another to compliment the one I made. The whole process is so relaxed, fun, and wholesome. I had the best time chatting away to Rashid and seeing how he does his magic. It was incredible to see how a piece of metal could become the finished product. If you want to work with gold and silver, they can too, just give them a heads up. Rashid and Mouhcine are your go-to for a great experience, and you walk away with a beautiful token of your time together. Mouhcine also knows all the tips and best recommendations for Essaouira and will happily point you in the right direction for anything you're looking for. Even better is 50 per cent of the proceeds from the workshops go back towards a very important social project here in Essaouira, the English Street Class, which Mouhcine set up in 2017 and provides free language classes to the locals of Essaouira. I completely recommend this if you are in Essaouira! Truly inspiring! Thank you Mouhcine and Rashid! I can't wait to come back as I already have another design in mind...

Jewellery workshop using metal from old objects - A fun and friendly opportunity to spend time in the workshop of a fantastic local jeweller and to design and make your own piece of jewellery using beautiful metal from old objects. There is a lovely balance between making the piece yourself and getting expert advice and help. It is also great that all the profits are used to support local children. Would highly recommend this workshop.
