• Hacienda El Porvenir by Tierra del Volcán - Take a break at the charming Hacienda El Porvenir by Tierra del Volcán. This beautifully decorated local hacienda features handmade crafts and textiles from the region, with cozy corners and wood fireplaces. • Cotopaxi National Park - After a 20-minute drive, enter the north entrance of Cotopaxi National Park. A small local store offers souvenirs and textiles for those wishing to take home a gift. The itinerary includes a 35-minute drive to the parking lot, where the hiking adventure begins. Ascend from 14,763 ft to 15,958 ft to reach the José Ribas high camp for breathtaking views of the Andes. Although challenging, the hike is manageable at a slow pace, with patient guides providing water, candies, and rest stops. Alternatively, enjoy a gentler hike around Limpiopungo Lagoon at 12,800 ft, perfect for birdwatching and exploring local flora. For those who prefer not to hike, there are excellent spots for photography and capturing beautiful memories.
• Rondador Cotopaxi - Our Private Cotopaxi Volcano Haciendas Gentle Hikes NON-TOURISTY WAY Tour includes a safe and refreshing lunch at a local restaurant. To enhance the experience, we’ve chosen a restaurant that offers delicious local cuisine.
