Beautiful experience at Nkweshoo village by Mamma Stella on the slopes of the Kilimanjaro - I truly recommend the experience of staying at Mama Stella in Nkweshoo village for a night or two, to discover the daily lives of the Chaggas people and the beautiful landscape around the village. The family of mama stella are super welcoming and speak well English, they will teach you how to cook traditional meals, cut bananas in the fields, and if you're lucky enough you'll get to see the Kilimanjaro on a sunny day.

Unforgettable! - We spent a day and a night (quiet) with Mama Stella and her sister, Hans, Jalia... What beautiful encounters! They made us discover the life of the Chagga people by integrating us in a very natural way into different Things to do in their daily lives (picking bananas, making coffee, cooking together, meeting with villagers, waterfall walk...). Hans explained their way of life and the various very beautiful actions they are working for. A very big thank you to them for these unforgettable and warm moments! Asante sana Julien, Sandrine, Manon and Aline

Hakuna mata - We were welcomed warmly and with music by Mama Stella, Hans and Mama Edith, we were directly put into the nkwesho atmosphere. We discovered the traditional way of harvesting bananas and how to prepare them. We also experienced grinding coffee with traditional songs, an extraordinary experience, which made us realize that it takes a lot of patience and work to enjoy a cup of coffee. We had the pleasure of visiting the surrounding area, village, banana fields as well as a magnificent waterfall. We were able to eat typical dishes prepared with care and love, a simply delicious gastronomic world. Very good experience, I advise you to do it with your eyes closed.

A great experience - 2 nights spent at Mama Stella's to discover the village of Nkweshoo, its culture, its inhabitants. We loved our stay, appreciated the welcome and kindness of the entire community. We were able to cook with them, walk around the village to be closer to the inhabitants, admire Kilimanjaro, discover the waterfall... A great experience far from our daily routine

CULTURE AND FRATERNITY - We stayed 2 days in this place where kindness and fraternity are in the air. From arrival until our departure we experienced the actions of our hosts as an ode to their culture. What could be more beautiful than wearing your Chagga culture through welcoming, sharing and the simple gestures of life. And then thank you for the help you provide around you; thank you for your ecological and societal actions. Thanks to TUMBILI who helps you for making us experience this moment Thank you for this wonderful stay. Bibi and BABOU Courtens
