• Machchhegaun - Guests will be picked up from their hotel and driven to Machchhegaun, approximately 40 minutes away. This marks the starting point of the trek, where participants will embark on a steep uphill climb for about 2 hours to reach Jiban Safal Hotel. Along the way, trekkers will be treated to stunning views of the Kathmandu Valley, the Himalayan range, and lush forests filled with Pine and Rhododendrons. From Jiban Safal, the path turns right towards Bhyanjyang, followed by another ascent to Chandragiri Hill. This challenging 5-hour uphill hike is recommended for seasoned hikers and serves as an excellent preparation for trekking in the Himalayas of Nepal. At the summit of Chandragiri Hill, visitors can admire the beautiful Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, learn about the hill’s history, and enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain range and Kathmandu Valley. Although the hike is demanding, it offers a rewarding experience of nature’s beauty near Kathmandu. The journey concludes with a cable car ride to the bottom station and a return drive to the hotel, marking the end of the Kathmandu day trip.
