• For Left-Handed Participants
  This class is rooted in Japanese tradition and culture. The Samurai experience is primarily designed for right-handed participants. Left-handed individuals are encouraged to join, but please avoid overly emphasizing left-handedness or requesting modifications for left-handed use, as this could inconvenience other attendees.

During this experience, participants will receive a lecture on Japanese swords, learn KATA (slashing forms), practice sparring, and try out bows and arrows, as well as practice slashing with a mock sword.

Participants will slash multiple targets while moving, which is quite challenging.
Please embrace the challenge!

Upon arrival at the dojo, participants will receive a brief lecture and change into training attire.

In the iai lesson, participants will learn how to handle and swing the mock sword.
In the gekken lesson, they will learn the timing of attack and defense, and spar with a mock sword.

There is also an activity where participants can check the blade line with a mock sword.
Please enjoy trying test cutting!
Participants can also try out a bow, which was the primary weapon of the samurai 1000 years ago.

This class is not intended for entertainment purposes for foreigners. It is designed for guests who have a genuine interest in samurai culture. This is the only class in Japan where participants can learn Swordsmanship and Traditional Japanese Horseback Archery from true masters of both arts.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn swordsmanship and archery from a master, and even handle an antique matchlock gun.

In this class, attendees can experience both swordsmanship and archery. The instructor is a master of swordsmanship and horseback archery, also known as yabusame. The instructor is among the very few in the world who have mastered both swordsmanship and horseback archery and continue to pass these skills down. Guests will experience something unique that cannot be found in any other samurai experience. Additionally, all techniques taught are authentic.
