Experience authentic samurai training with this unique opportunity that goes beyond entertainment for tourists. Participate in samurai training at a genuine dojo and delve into the art of swordsmanship through a comprehensive three-part class: iai, kendo (gekken), and slash (test cutting).

During the iai lesson, participants will learn the techniques of handling and swinging the sword. The gekken lesson focuses on mastering the timing of attack and defense, with sparring using a practice sword. In the test cutting lesson, participants will cut two targets with a real sword. Each individual will receive two targets, with the first serving as practice to effectively cut the second. The instructor will provide guidance on improving technique before attempting to cleanly cut the second target. Successfully cutting the target will offer a genuine appreciation for the sharpness of a Japanese sword.

There are branches located worldwide. After completing the trial course, participants can continue their training in locations such as Minnesota, New York, Florida, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Barcelona, Spain, and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Initially, participants will explore the fundamental history of swords and their manufacturing process. They will also have the opportunity to disassemble a sword to gain a deeper understanding of its components.
During the iai lesson, participants will learn proper sword etiquette and the basics of handling and swinging a sword.
Subsequently, using a Bokuto, they will learn to utilize the curve and center ridge of the sword. Following this, they will be introduced to offensive and defensive techniques against an opponent using a padded sparring practice sword in a simulated duel.
Finally, participants will have the opportunity to try test cutting. Each guest will have the chance to cut two rolled-up straw mats. Achieving the correct angle will result in a cut with no resistance to the blade.
