- Mount Nebo - Located less than 10 kilometers west of Madaba, Mount Nebo (Siyagha) serves as the memorial for Prophet Moses. This site features a Trefoil Church built in the 4th century AD, which was expanded with a nave in the 5th century AD. Mount Nebo offers a stunning westward view, encompassing the Dead Sea, the West Bank, the Jordan River, and, on clear days, Bethlehem and Jerusalem. It is renowned as the resting place of Moses, offering a spectacular view of the Jordan Valley and a visit to its Franciscan Church.
- The Baptism Site Of Jesus Christ - The journey continues along the shores of the Dead Sea to Bethany, the site of John the Baptist’s settlement at Bethany beyond the Jordan, where Jesus was baptized. This location is well-documented in the Bible (John 1:28 and 10:40) and in Byzantine and medieval texts.
- Ma’in Hot Springs - Situated 264 meters below sea level, Ma’in is surrounded by beautiful landscapes. The mineral-rich waters have been attracting visitors since Roman times. There are two main public baths: the Roman baths, featuring indoor hot baths, and the family pool beneath a small waterfall. The thermal waters, ranging from 40° to 60° C (104-140° F), are known for their healing properties. Ma’in pools are a captivating site, surrounded by high, dark-colored mountains due to geothermal activity, and are famous for the numerous dolmens (prehistoric chamber tombs) scattered across the hillsides.
- Dead Sea Region - A stop at Dead Sea Palm offers a rest point with restroom facilities, refreshments such as tea or coffee, and the opportunity to try various Dead Sea products.
