Birds, hermit crab, horseshoe crab, sand-dollars, sometimes fish, and lots of shells. Snorkeling will maximize the experience. Yes the occasional dolphin and manatee are known to swim by as well. Weather conditions play a huge roll in snorkeling conditions.
