Lisbon - Breakfast followed by a morning panoramic tour of this beautiful city, located at the mouth of the Tagus River: Park Viewpoint, Edward VII Square, Rossio Square, Liberdade Avenue, Madragoa District (where Fado, the traditional Portuguese music, originated). Continue to the Belem District to see the famous Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, and the Jerónimos Monastery. Afternoon at leisure. An optional excursion to Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril is recommended. Accommodation provided.
(Saturday) LISBON-MERIDA-SEVILLA (480 km)
Merida - Breakfast followed by departure towards the Spanish border to arrive in Merida. Enjoy free time to explore its impressive archaeological complex, featuring the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Lunch at leisure.
