So much fun - A great way to explore the city. Finding pick up was easy. Guide was informative. I stayed in the bus the whole 90 minutes and you can choose to hop off and back again.

Dire - Dire experience, I bought with my sister on February 24 the city tour and the boy from the kiosk of Alcalá explained something that was not real, never said that it was a lap or anything, we thought that you could go down and up and to our surprise it was not so, we lost the money because it was not the experience that we paid and honestly we did not make a claim because we left the next day and as you will understand we were not going to invest our last day in the city like that, but I do not recommend it and to that man much less!!

Disappointing - This tour is misleading as currently there are no hop on hop off tours in Madrid . You meet at one stop only and sit on the bus for 90 minutes returning to the original starting place .
This is not what was advertised and led us to waste around an hour trying to find out where to find the Big Bus starting point . At no time was this change communicated to us so that we could cancel the tour as we had booked it on the basis of stopping at various points . We only found out on the day when it was too late to cancel .
The guide was knowledgeable however it would have been nice to have been able to stop and spend more time at the various buildings and historical sites .

Not a Hop On/Hop Off Bus Tour - The tour itself was ok although missed lots of impressive buildings with the driver speaking in both language which although impressive, did mean we drove by places of interested and didn’t know what they were.
The worse part was the fact that the descriptions states 11 stops and like all other cities we have visited, we expected to be able to get off and on as we pleased to see the whole city however…..this is only a one stop service as the 90 minute tour is exactly that.
Why sell a 24 hour ticket when you would only use it once!!!
Clearly miss sold and felt robbed.
Certainly wouldn’t recommend to anyone who expects what all other cities do.

Appalling tour with unintelligible guide - This was terrible. The live guide spoke so quickly and the PA system so poor that we could barely understand anything being said. Learnt nothing at all of the city.
On top of this the office where we bought the ticket gave us the wrong departure time so we just missed one bus and had to wait over one hour for the next!!
Have had good experience of big bus in other cities but would not recommend them in Madrid at all.

Avoid! Book Madrid City tour bus instead!!!!! - If you don’t want to wait at a bus stop for an hour and have the bus drive straight passed you without stopping than this isn’t the bus tour for you. Myself and my partner waited for an hour at bus stop 8 only for the bus to drive straight passed us! We decided to go to bus stop 1 to try and get on there and we stood at the bus for a few minutes while a staff member stood ignoring us, smoking and quite literally scratching his balls!!!! Do not waste your entire day chasing this terrible bus service!!!!

Bad Tour Bus - Only one working bus. Waited an hour at the stop to get picked up. Tour guides stopped mid tour for a smoke break?? The audio tour is live and only in English and Spanish. Three stops are closed during Christmas. You’re better off walking.

Big bus scam - A terrible experience, we were eight friends and bought a Tour of Madrid, which in theory lasted two hours seeing the most emblematic monuments of the city, but it turns out that when we arrived at the Prado museum they stop, in theory a few seconds and soon we are told that we have to get off the bus to which we replied that we would not get off, since that was not our stop. They had to drop us off at the same stop where they had picked us up (Gran Via), we had to call the police to give us a hand and yet they kept insisting that we had to get off. In the end we have a car a bus and we have finished the tour but we have lost more than half an hour.
Besides us there were many more tourists, an experience, horrifying and terrible

SCAM, ARMED ROBBERY - We hired a €25 tour in the morning in which they explained that this price was a tour in which we should get on and off at the same stop: Gran VÃa, stop 7, and that our tour would be at 16:20, but that the bus passed every 20 minutes, they explained that at 18h this tour ended because the Christmas lighting started. On arrival there was a lady who had been waiting 45 minutes.. bad! No Noe zampa the tour and when he reached the middle, Museo Del Prado the bus stopped indicating the driver that we were stopping a FEW SECONDS and we were continuing. When we had been standing for 10 minutes, they asked us to come down, that the tour was over. We had to call the police, and after more than half an hour, they decided under pressure that the City Tours company would eventually take us to the starting point. Finishing without finishing the tour...... THEY ARE CON ARTISTS. Their bad luck was that we were not defenseless foreign tourists, (that there was also a large group disoriented and not knowing what happened) but Spaniards with bad milk.
