A mesmerizing, visceral evening of Flamenco - We had an absolute blast. Seeing a proper Flamenco performance is always a visceral experience. Too often in the states, it is random footstomping rather than a human percussion section integrated with the other musicians. Even out teenagers were mesmerized. We had no problems finding the location with Google and the hosts went out of their way via Whatsapp to make sure everything was perfect. We would happily do this experience again.

Authentic and intimate - This was an amazing experience. Very intimate and tucked into a neighborhood full of local life in Madrid. The performers - dancers, singer, and guitarist were great. The wait staff was friendly as I attempted to speak broken Spanish. Melody was also an awesome host. I definitely recommend this experience!

The most jaw dropping show!!! - This was the most beautifully done show ever!!! The performers were incredible and they bring such stories to life through the dances and music!!! Absolutely incredible and a must see while you’re in Spain!!! Such a fun thing to do with my best friend on our last night!!!

Simple and exciting - The place is very simple and no frills. I booked a seat in the front rows and I must say it was worth it to feel the energy of the artists so closely. The stage is small and wooden, there was the guitarist the singer a dancer and a dancer. About 1 hour and a quarter with 15 minutes interval. The experience is very authentic, rustic, nothing to do with the spectacle of the theaters. I really liked this aspect. I'm not an expert at evaluating artistic performance but the show thrilled me, and that's what matters.

Not for me, but maybe just a bad night. - Hmmmm. This show wasn't for me. Usually love flamenco, have seen around a dozen other performances over central/southern Spain and always try to attend venues slightly off the tourist map for more authenticity/less "rehearsed" feeling/support smaller venues and less well-known artists. Sadly, didn't feel the "duende" I usually get from flamenco and other Spanish art forms. Really easy to find from the Portazgo metro stop (line 1) and waitress was incredibly polite and accommodating. Although I agree with other trip advisor reviews that the seating was uncomfortable and food didn't look the best (didn't try it personally, so maybe unfair to comment), for me the most important thing was that the performance just wasn't up to scratch and I don't believe it should really have been at this price point. Have seen other amateur performances outside of immediate centre of Madrid that have blown me away with much nicer food, ambience, pricing and exceptional artists. I found that the "guest" dancer did elevate the show, so maybe experience is dependant on performers on the night. Night I attended there were two female dancers (one guest), one male singer and one guitarist, so if you like the dynamism and variety of having a mixed-gender dialogue or vocal/instrumental variety then luck was out that night.
