Ruben captivates kids and adults with Insights about the Royal Palace and history and culture of Spain! - Ruben took such great care to include my kids ages 7 and 13 on this tour, making sure to include entertaining details and keep the tour both informative and light. He is so passionate about the history of Spain and it shows, we learned so much that you never see in the history books, and it was fun at the same time. He helped us understand current events in Spain while informing us on how it got this way. He shared the rich history of the monarchy in Spain and how it is intertwined with other European monarchies. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Royal Palace with Ruben’s generosity of spirit sharing insights we would otherwise have missed.

Excellent - It was amazing how Ruben could remember all dates and history. I also liked the fact that our guide Ruben called us by our name all the time. Very nice of him.

Amazing tour guide!! - Our guide Rueben was great!! Very informative and entertaining!! Would give him 5 stars!!! The only issue was that they closed at 4pm- and at 3:50pm the the Palace staff were pushing us out the door and scolding us for taking pictures.

Buy your own ticket - Get tickets in advance and do this on your own. While our guide was good and informative, we waited in a very long line while other people were able to quickly buy tickets and get inside. We then had a bathroom stop and started the tour over a half hour late. Therefore, it felt rushed. The tour does let you see a couple of extra rooms, but there is plenty to see.
